Tutor Requirements

Interested in becoming a volunteer tutor? Here is a list of requirements: 
  1. 18 years and older. 

  2. High School graduate or HS equivalency (secondary education preferred). 

  3. Solid grasp of the English language. 

  4. All tutors must complete a 10-hour training course. Training is available online or in person. Click HERE to learn more about the online training and sign up today! 

  5. A desire to help others!

 

No experience in education is necessary. Potential tutors have an opportunity to complete a training course which will set them up for success with students. Staff and veteran tutors are also available to help plan lessons and activities.
