Serving youth ages 12-21, the Ernie Davis Community Center (733-5962 - Fifth St, 734-6174 - Chruch St) operates Monday through Friday, from 3:30-8:30 pm. It offers the following activities:

New Day

Serving youth ages 5 to 12, the New Day Program operates out of the Diven & Beecher Elementary Schools in Elmira, Monday through Friday, from the time children get out of school until 5:30pm.

This program is a licensed school aged child care program where students work on homework, receive substance abuse prevention education and lesson plans of cultural and educational nature. Field trips, recreation and a snack are also provided.

Chemung County Youth Bureau,
City of Elmira, United Way
and
the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services
